Jeff Weigel, BSEE, began
his career at Motorola, where he helped structure and manage a nationwide
sales force. He has since held numerous management positions with
Vitesse Semiconductor including Managing Director - European Sales
and Vice President Strategic Customers. Prior to Vitesse Jeff was
Vice President of Sales at GARCO (a National Semiconductor subsidiary).
He is currently on the advisory board of two companies. As a co-founder
of the RoadWarriorGroup, Jeff utilizes the cross ocean experiences
he has gained from setting up and managing sales channels and operations
for companies on both continents. Jeff has a BSEE from Lafayette
College, and lives in Southern California.
Doug Lyons, BSEE/MBA with 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development and customer support in organizations of all sizes. His experience includes Motorola Semiconductor, Daisy Systems, VP of Emerging Technology at Mentor Graphics, founder of several startups, and board member of several companies. His industry experience includes Semiconductor, Design Automation, Wireless-Internet, Power, Enterprise Software, and Contract Manufacturing. He has developed and facilitates a seminar/workshop used to increase organizational focus on Customers, Revenue and Profit.
Ben Warren, MSEE, was most recently
in business development for ten years at Nortel and Bay Networks.
He stuctured partnerships, and made several equity investments in
technology firms that were strategic to new market and product goals.
Earlier he was active as VP of Engineering at Weitek, General Manager
at Chips and Technologies and Director of Design centers at VLSI
Technology. His technical expertise includes design of ICs for microprocessors,
telecom, disk drives, graphics, and memory. His early career was
in R&D for nine years at Intel, where he worked on the design
of many standard products and processes, dating back to the early
microprocessors, memories and telephony CODECs. RWG provides Ben
an opportunity to work with high potential start-ups driving the
innovations of tomorrow.
